Our friends at Stori, a brand new digital banking service in Mexico, needed a visual and animated system for their launch in town. We dove into their specific needs, which involved a thoughtful and strategic process to create a visually appealing and user-friendly experience for customers. The first step was to understand Stori’s brand identity and target audience. This information helped in creating design elements that reflect the bank’s values and resonate with its users. Wireframing and creating mockups of the digital platform were important parts of the process, outlining the layout and functionalities of the app and the website.
In the animation phase, we aimed to enhance user engagement, provide feedback on interactions, and guide users through the Stori banking experience. Micro-interactions like small icons in various action states, animations marking the end of a banking operation, art and illustrations, etc., can add a touch of delight for users. It was crucial for us to ensure that animations served a purpose and didn’t hinder the overall usability of the platform. We created many icons, hero illustrations, vector and 3D animations for this project, and we had a lot of fun doing it!
