Sonido Gallo Negro are a band from Mexico City who plays psychedelic amazonian cumbia with bits of garage and mystic aura, when they told us they want to make a video for their new single called Tarantula, we heard the song and we said we wanna make it ! So our friends gave us total creative control of the video and we came with this concept of a mystic tarantula who feeds of human emotions and represents the unswerving femininity, and in its daily journey meets this cowboy who represents the coarse aspect of masculinity, which is hunted by the tarantula and starts an erotic and lysergic dance among metaphors of a platonic love, sex, empathy, pain and sadness between those two.
